Earwax is a thick, yellow substance that is secreted by your ear. It plays a crucial role in ear health by:
• Trapping dust

• Oil the ear canal
• Protecting against infection
However, sometimes earwax can build up and cause problems like

• Having hearing loss (muffled sounds)
• Earache
• Ringing ears or tinnitus.
• Feeling of fullness
What NOT to Do:
• Don't use earbuds to clean your ears. These push wax further into the ear and can cause damage and discomfort.

• Please note that sharp objects such as pins or hair clips should not be used inside the ear canal.

How can we help?
If you have problems with ear wax, could you talk to us? We can safely remove excess wax using a suction under a microscope (small vacuum device) without causing pain and discomfort.
