A blocked nose, or nasal congestion as it is known to most people, is one of the most irritating conditions that may occur to anyone. It can cause breathlessness, sleep disturbance, and smell and taste sensation disorders.
Why is the Nose Blocked?
Several factors can contribute to a blocked nose, including:
Colds and Flu, allergies, sinusitis, deviated Septum, nasal Polyps etc

What does an ENT Consultant have to offer?
If your blocked nose is awful, constant, or associated with other symptoms, an ENT consultant can make an expert diagnosis and prescribe the proper treatment.
Here's how we can help:

Patients can look forward to a relaxing consultation environment that allows open and frank discussions about their symptoms. They can come along with a friend or family member if they wish.

With a detailed history and examination, Mr Adeel can find the leading cause of your blocked nose. You may need an examination with a thin, flexible camera in the nose to look for a cause of blockage.
Depending on the cause, medication, including decongestants, antihistamines, and nasal steroids, could be prescribed to diminish the inflammation and improve drainage.
For patients not responding to medication, surgery could be an option to rectify a deviated septum, remove nasal polyps or turbinate reduction. (please see QR codes for surgery details)
